products listings

On a website I wish to create a list of products from a search of a db table.
Each product listed will have a tick box and a quantity box which will allow an enquiry to be sent by email to the supplier who can then quote for the items ticked.

I wonder how I could go about creating this with WA tools.

Thanks for any advice.

John

It will take some hand coding to send the checked products in an email.

Data Bridge can be used the create a products search and results listing though.

it may be easier to use eCart to allow the customer to add the items to the cart, if you run the checkout wizard and select to not use a gateway, it can be configured to send the cart contents in an email that could be used to generate the quote.

Thank Jason
Data Bridge; is that doing the same as Data Assist?

In this case there are no product prices available, will ecart work OK without prices?

Yes, data bridge contains the newer version of data Assist, if you have data assist 2, you can use that.

yes, eCart will still work fine without prices, it'll just show a total of $0 in the cart.
