Button Press Trigger

Can someone please help? I have my confirm page set to send an email to customer and myself on submit, but it won't send on "Button Press Trigger"

the reason for this is that the forms action is to post to the linkpoint server.

you wont be able to send the email when the submit order button is pressed since the form is sending the information to linkpoint. You are using a Remote Checkout system, in this type of checkout system, the gateway should be sending the receipt email for you.
