Installing Design Extender

Been talking to Ray about purchasing Design Extender to solve a problem with the separate Power CMS builder extension from the old Super Suite and the incorporation of ckeditor 4 into Design Extender.

1. Is there any problem with installing Design Extender but still using the other separate extensions from the old super suite?

2. What is the procedure for installing Design Extender?

Design Extender is a consolidation of the following extensions:
-- CSS Sculptor
-- CSS Menu Writer
-- Framework Builder
-- PowerCMS Builder
-- Pro Maps for Google
-- Site Import
-- Site Sculptor
-- Social Media Toolkit

make sure those extensions are uninstalled from the extension manager before installing Design Extender.

you can continue using the other stand alone extensions along side design extender

After speaking with Ray on a problem with not being able to edit in dreamweaver using the old PowerCMS extension we have decided to purchase Design Extender to get the latest version.
Therefore we want to delete the old Power CMS files and folders and do a fresh install using Design Extender.
We found the list below from your response to a forum post here showthread.php?t=22556

power cms creates the following folders at the root of your Dreamweaver site:
webassist
WADbSearch
WA_ValidationToolkit
WA_SecurityAssist
WA_Globals
WA_DataAssist
WA_CMS
Templates
js
install_cms
images
CSSMenuWriter
css
cms
admin_cms

1. Please could you list which folders are created by Power CMS in the webassist folder.
Some files and folders need to be retained from some of the above but not sure which ones to remove in the webasssit folder.
The site is not yet live and the cms content in the database is testing stuff so was planning to delete the tables from the database.

2. Any unforseen problems with this approach, to do a fresh Power CMS install?

1) the folders created under the webassist folder are:

ckeditor
framework
kfm
kfm_help
security_assist

2) no, i don't see any issues with this, but make a site backup and DB backup just in case

NOTE: you can create a new site in DW and add CMS Builder to it to see the folder structure that gets created.

it may be outside the webassist folder at WA_SecurityAssist for your version.
