PowerCMS regenerate Admin dir

Hello,
I've got Power CMS working on a number of sites and also have added my own code to extend it to offer more advanced options. It's a great base and hopefully is extended further to become more mature while retaining the simple nature which makes it so appealing to Developers.

My question is in regards to how the system/extension knows whether there has been an Admin_CMS created for a particular site? What files needs be suss'ed out and deleted to allow the generation of new files?

For instance, in many cases prior sites are used to refactor into new sites. Creating a new DB and then using the Webassist/CMS/ Add Content To... and Add Content From... work fine and will ask to generate the needed tables in a blank DB. But the Edit in PowerCMS fails to generate a new admin dir if it is not already present. (screen shot provided)

Oddly enough I can update the DB from the CMS options in DW even though the DB does not have the Admin or Serial Number for the extension saved to the DB. (screen shot provided)

Is the hook somewhere outside the sites root? Library/Application Support ??

One method that did work was to delete the new sites test references in this location:

/Users/steve/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver CS6/en_US/Configuration/Temp/PowerCMS/*name of new site*

and also rename the Connection "PowerCMSConnection.php" to some other name, which then will get recreated when adding content to PowerCMS.
