Going live with PS4.5

Hi,

I am about to go live on my store and have uploaded all the files involved to my web server.

When I try to link to the store i get a couple of errors:

Warning: mysql_pconnect() [function.mysql-pconnect]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/No-MySQL-hostname-was-specified'

Fatal error: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/No-MySQL-hostname-was-specified'

Where do I make changes in PowerStoreConnection.php and what would they want to be?

Thanks,

judging by the error, the problem is the hostname setting on line 5

$hostname_PowerStoreConnection = "[Name of the MySQL Host Here]";

if you log into your site Cpanel, you should be able to access your database using PHPMyAdmin. In the PHPMyAdmin window, along the top left, it will show the name of the MySQL Host, this is the name you should use in the connection file.

if you nee further assistance getting this information, you should contact your host.
