Coupon Code Tutorial

Is the archived Coupon Code tutorial is still usable for all versions of eCart?

Thank you,

Yes, the concept is still the same in newer versions of eCart, the only difference is the interface.

hi,

should the coupon form be created inside or outside of the cart form?

I have followed the tutorial, but to no avail, so i uploaded the cart file.

My apology for things not going smoothly for me, but just know i truly appreciate you help

thank you,

Okay, thank you.

I have the coupon form where i need it, it is not working.

When is it suppose to apply the discount? The discount isn't showing at all. The only deviation from the tutorial was the coupon code:
WebAssist is now HappyVaping.

When do they hit the submit button for the discount to apply? Either way it doesn't seem to work. So I'm doing something wrong again...

The coupon form is on line 390-394.

in the rule you are using the session variable:
Promocode

but the name should be:
PromoCode

capitol C

php is case sensitive.
