Browser Problems & WADA Search if = Null

Hi:

Just a couple of questions:

1) Is there any reason why some WADA Pages should open in Firefox and IE but not in Chrome?

2) Is there any way to tell the DataAssist Wizard to search depending on whether a column in the DB is Null or not? And, if so, can a Radio Button be used for that purpose?

Just in case, attached please find a copy of the page that doesn't open in Chrome, but opens in FF and IE.

Thank you for your attention.

1) I'd need to see the pages in the browser to tell what the problem may be

2) Yes, you can use a checkbox to search for null. See the attached screen shoot for an example of how to set the Criteria in Data Assist Search

Jason:

Thank you for your reply and thanks for explaining the NULL search.

To see the browser problem please go to the same Website whose URL I entered in the last ticket, sign in as Damian, and also use the same password I entered in the last ticket. To view the trouble page, in the C-Panel please click on New Attendance Record

Jason:

I've been trying to make the Checkbox work in searching for Not NULL fields in the DB, but I always get the same results: Either all the records (including the NULL ones) or no records at all.

Attached please find ONE of the ways in which I have configured the Search Parameter in question (Note: S_hasFile is the name of the Checkbox)

Any suggestions?

Thank you for your attention.

Jason:

OK, but what about the comparison? Should I select "is", " = ", or any other comparison?

For the Checked option use Equal, for the Unchecked option use Not Equal

Jason:

Thank you for your attention earlier today, however, it seems that the search for NULL or "Blank" worked well in the Workbench, but for whatever reason it doesn't work well in DW. I still get all the records in the result page regardless of whether the Checkbox is checked or not.

Any suggestions?

Attached please find a screen shot of the Configure A Search Parameter window.

Thank you for your attention.
