Error in uploading from local server to web server

Hi I have been using Wamp with Dreamweaver to create a CSS styled PHP site, I have been running it locally fine but when I have tried to upload everything to the webserver, I get this error when I try to open a page with a recordset on it

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'msc67cms'@'cmsmotion.cmsmotion.com' (using password: YES) in /home/msc67cms/public_html/Connections/server.php on line 9

Fatal error: Access denied for user 'msc67cms'@'cmsmotion.cmsmotion.com' (using password: YES) in /home/msc67cms/public_html/Connections/server.php on line 9

This means that the connection details for connecting to the remote MySQL server are not correct.

double check with the host the correct server name, username, password and database name to use for making a MySQL connection.

I have this in the Server.php page
<?php
# FileName="Connection_php_mysql.htm"
# Type="MYSQL"
# HTTP="true"
$hostname_server = "msc67.cmsmotion.com";
$database_server = "msc67cms_blacktowerwebsite";
$username_server = "msc67cms";
$password_server = "*****";
$server = mysql_connect($hostname_server, $username_server, $password_server) or trigger_error(mysql_error(),E_USER_ERROR);
?>

Jason, I am getting the exact same message/error after uploading my files onto the web server.

Be advised that I am using the dynamic mysql connection and I also have the files in a sub-folder of the root on the live webserver for testing and so I don't have to take down the existing website.

Here is the error I am getting.

Warning: mysql_pconnect() [function.mysql-pconnect]: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'serverxx.com' (13) in /home/www/peakprofinancial.com/Connections/PowerCMSConnection.php on line 25

Fatal error: Can't connect to MySQL server on 'serverxx.com' (13) in /home/www/peakprofinancial.com/Connections/PowerCMSConnection.php on line 25

Connection File:

<?php
# FileName="WADYN_CONN.htm"
# Type="MYSQL"
# HTTP="true"
$hostname_PowerCMSConnection = "localhost";
$database_PowerCMSConnection = "database_name";
$username_PowerCMSConnection = "root";
$password_PowerCMSConnection = "pw";
@session_start();
$foundConnection = false;
if ($foundConnection == false) {
$domains = explode(",","domainname.com");
for ($domindex = 0; $domindex<sizeof($domains) && !$foundConnection; $domindex++) {
$domainCheck = trim($domains[$domindex]);
if (strpos(strtolower($_SERVER["SERVER_NAME"]),strtolower($domainCheck)) !== false && ($domainCheck == "" || strpos(strtolower($_SERVER["SERVER_NAME"]),strtolower($domainCheck)) == strlen($_SERVER["SERVER_NAME"])-strlen($domainCheck))) {
$hostname_PowerCMSConnection = "serverxx.com";
$database_PowerCMSConnection = "db_name";
$username_PowerCMSConnection = "username"; <--same as database name
$password_PowerCMSConnection = "password";
$foundConnection = true;
}
}
}

$PowerCMSConnection = mysql_pconnect($hostname_PowerCMSConnection, $username_PowerCMSConnection, $password_PowerCMSConnection) or trigger_error(mysql_error(),E_USER_ERROR);

?>

The error means the MySQL Host name:
serverxx.com

is not correct.

contact your host for details on the correct MySQL host name to use.
