Parent tab on side menu

When I click the parent tab on the side menu, it shows no products found but in the sub links there are products. Should it be that you get the list and ass you go to the sub links it filters?

Test site:

products_results.php

On side menu click "Print/Scan/Copy Solutions", then click the links below.

When you assign products to a category, you need to also select the parent category if you them to show for the parent category.

the category selection is a multiple select list, you need to select the parent and child categories that the product should associate to.
