User login without the fields

I've built some user registration pages where the user is required to opt-in by clicking the link in the confirmation email.

This takes the user to my confirmation page where i'd like the option for the user to log straight in.

I've achieved this using a form simply enough, as the users credentials are passed to the confirmation form. However, I was wondering if it were possible to enable a user login using just a button instead of the form fields?

Any ideas?

Thanks, Paul

So you are pre populating the Username and Password form elements using dynamic data?

The form element are needed to pass the info when the login button is pressed, but you can change the type from text to hidden so they wont show on the page.
