Storing as HTML code and other things...

How come when I paste say Lorem ipsum text in the html editor then on the update page it shows the html p tags etc..rather then the straight up text?

Also when I try to browse server while uploading images I get:

most likely the HTML Editor instance on the update page has code to convert the tags to HTML Entities.

Edit the HTML Editor instance on the update page, click the lightning bolt icon next to initial value and re select the corresponding column from the update recordset to clear any formatting that is in place.

for the File Manager problem, what browser are you using? This can happen when sing IE9, try using Fire Fox instead.
