Koszi Alex

Add new user with restricted priviledges to PCMS

Hello,
I am a satisfied user of Power CMS2. Please let me know, how to add a simple user (without admin rights) to the system. This user should be able to only modify the text parts in the content management and should not be able to add new paged, delete existing ones etc etc.

Sincerely

Alex

to create a new admin user, log in to the CMS Admin section as the supper admin, then click the manage users link along the top.

I might be missing this but I don't think that the question was answered. That's just adding another user to the login and then they see all the pages in the site and can create pages.

I would like to tag onto this by asking the same question.

How can you add a user to the system .. they would not be an admin .. and give them the ability to only impact a specific page (or pages).

Can this be done?

An admin user that is added can only edit existing pages. They cannot add pages or delete content areas.

Only the supper admin user can add pages or delete content.

Power CMS Does not support assigning specific content areas to specific users.
