Does Social Media Toolkit work in Dreamweaver CS6? Thanks!

No the stand alone version of social media toolkit is not compatible with DWCS6.

It has been incorporated into the newer Design Extender extension which is compatible with CS6.

Is there plans on make it compatible with CS6? If yes, do you know when? Cannot afford to purchase design extender for $300 to use the $30 social media extension.

There is no plan at this time, i would recommend that you continue using CS5 if you wish to use social media toolkit.
