Unable to activate Design Extender

Hi,

I've downloaded the latest Design Extender today, having first removed the previous one by uninstalling. I came to enter the activation code and the interface keeps giving me the red button. I've even tried copying and pasting in the individual sets of figures, but all to no avail. I have uninstalled and installed on three separate occasions, having deleted the winfilecache file and still no joy.

Has anyone any idea as to what I may try next?

David

What access point are you using to open the activation window?

Be sure not to confuse Design Extender and Data Bridge, Data Bridge 1.1.1 was just released as well, i have run into an issue on many occasions with using a serial number for a different product than what is actually being activated, make note of the product in the serial number window.

Unable to activate Design Extender

Hi Jason,

I'm using the CMS insertion, which activates Design Extender. When I copy and paste the serial number, the first text block will only show four digits. The fifth one appears in the second text box and so on. |'ve tried copying and pasting each text block separately, but still to no avail. I've copied from front to back and back to front!!

David

Do you maybe have a space in the first field? Sometimes when you copy from a web page it will copy the space or line break in front of what you are trying to copy and that will prevent it from pasting properly.

Try pasting into a .txt document and then re-copy making sure you don't have any spaces or line breaks selected. I'm pretty sure that will work. If not, give us a call or email your skype contact information and we can call you to investigate it further with you directly.
