If you've tried everything else....
I was having HUGE issues with ProMaps for Google. I upgraded to Design Extender so I could use Version 3 of the APIs, but nothing worked... all I got was a blank, white map.
So, I deleted everything from the website I was working on that had anything to do with WebAssist or Google. I made sure all those files were removed from the remote server too. When I recreated the map and uploaded the page to the server, it worked just fine. I think the conflict was with the files on the remote server. MAKE SURE YOU DELETE THOSE TOO!
