Hi Jason

my client had a buyer from your side of the pond so I enabled sales from the USA

The buyer purchased and apparently completed the purchase sequence. My client received an email from paypal saying the purchase woudbe delayed for 3-4 days whilst currency exchange rates were sorted.

However the client has received no notification from powerstore.

What is even more weird is that if I check the user database I see no client from the USA and nothing in the orders table

any ideas whats going on?

What paypal system are you using?

If using Paypal standard, the order details are saved to the site when paypal completes the order and makes the IPN Post to your site. Since the order is delayed, paypal has not yet sent the IPN post of the transaction details.

thanks for the info yes it is paypal standard.

does this mean that even the registration details are not written until the paypal clearance?
