Checking for availability hanging

Checking for availability hanging

products_detail.php?ProductID=2325
products_detail.php?ProductID=3167

I have not checked all products but found a couple of examples. Client is reporting that when a customer changes sizes to find a product, it is freezing at "checking availability. Screen shot attached.

I looked in the product settings and didn't see anything different. There is inventory, etc.

Any ideas on what to look for? Thanks.

looking at the source of your page i don't see the WA_Store_Cart_1_ID_Add hidden element.

looks like this code was removed from the webassist/plugins/shopping_cart/add_to_cart.php page.

php:
<input type="hidden" name="WA_Store_Cart_1_ID_Add" id="WA_Store_Cart_1_ID_Add" value="<?php echo $row_WADAProducts["ProductID"]; ?>" />

add it back just before the submit button

here's where I put it

<input type="hidden" name="WA_Store_Cart_1_ID_Add" id="WA_Store_Cart_1_ID_Add" value="<?php echo $row_WADAProducts["ProductID"]; ?>" />
<p class="ATC_Button_Wrapper">
<input type="submit" value="Add to Cart" name="WA_Store_Cart_1_ATC" class="ps_buttons submit" /></p>

<?php }

well, the add to cart button isnt even showing on this page

the
<?php }

indicates that there is an if statement, that may be hiding the add to cart button, and also the ID element. move the ID element out of that if statement.

sorry... lost... I grabbed a larger chuck of the code...

</td>
</tr></table>
<input type="hidden" name="WA_Store_Cart_1_ID_Add" id="WA_Store_Cart_1_ID_Add" value="<?php echo $row_WADAProducts["ProductID"]; ?>" />
<p class="ATC_Button_Wrapper">
<input type="submit" value="Add to Cart" name="WA_Store_Cart_1_ATC" class="ps_buttons submit" /></p>

<?php } ?>
<!--
<br />
<a href="#"><img src="images/btn_learnmore.png" width="111" height="22" alt="Learn More" style=" margin-top: 4px;" /></a>

if you take a peek at other products, most are fine...

products_detail.php?ProductID=197

add to cart is there IF there are products in the system...

it's when you try to change sizes on my two examples that it won't do anything at all...

in that example,

pro...ProductID=2325

most of the sizes are sold out... it just freezes though...

in the pages where it works, the add to cart button is showing. in the pages where it doesnt work, the add to cart button is not showing

change:
<input type="hidden" name="WA_Store_Cart_1_ID_Add" id="WA_Store_Cart_1_ID_Add" value="<?php echo $row_WADAProducts["ProductID"]; ?>" />
<p class="ATC_Button_Wrapper">
<input type="submit" value="Add to Cart" name="WA_Store_Cart_1_ATC" class="ps_buttons submit" /></p>

<?php } ?>

to:

<p class="ATC_Button_Wrapper">
<input type="submit" value="Add to Cart" name="WA_Store_Cart_1_ATC" class="ps_buttons submit" /></p>

<?php } ?>
<input type="hidden" name="WA_Store_Cart_1_ID_Add" id="WA_Store_Cart_1_ID_Add" value="<?php echo $row_WADAProducts["ProductID"]; ?>" />

so that whatever if statement is hiding the add to cart button, wont also hide the item id element
