Running Data Assist overwrites my changes to CSS

Running Data Assist overwrites my changes to CSS

I have run Data Assist a couple of times now for one website, but when I do run it, I end up with a few things that I want to change about the CSS, but each time I make the change the CSS is then overwritten the next time I run DA.

How can I prevent this repetitive correction of the CSS?

I have been specifically changing the CSS to add spacing to the table that holds the buttons on the detail page, and also adding a style for fieldsets where I am applying a border of 0px.

Actually, that is one CSS rule that is absent from the CSS files created... there is no fieldset rule for users to apply changes to, so I am finding I am having to add them manually to remove any border that is created by the DA wizard.

create a new CSS file and make your CSS Changes in the new file instead of making the changes in the css files created by data assist.

OK, so there's no way of adding the desired or amended css styles to Data Assist so that it does create the correct style sheet for me each time. I've created my own DA preset, but I can't see a way of editing CSS in DA other than for buttons.

The form creator allows me to create very styled forms with customised CSS that can be saved as a preset, but DA doesn't seem to have the same ability... or does it?

Thanks

Mat

In the Data Assist wizard, you can use form designs that you create in form builder.

the Data Assist wizard allows you to save the application settings as a preset, but not change the form design, that is done in form builder.
