Paul

How to display information in the order i chose to show it in..

I'm trying to change the way data is pulled through my site for example.

I have 10 blog entries

And i want to move one of them without having to delete all my data and re-imputing
the data above that entry. So i want to move entry 5 to spot 8.

Is there a way i can tweak the code to be able to sort by an id I assign to the post?

Please let me know.

Thanks!

This is not supported in Power CMS BUilder and will require some custom development.

you would need to add a new column to the pcms2_contnet table to use for ordering purposes assign each content record a number value.

then the recordset that you use to display the content, add an order by clause.

If you need help implementing this custom change, I would suggest signing up for a premiere support appointment.
