adding additional productOptions

adding additional productOptions

My site has three product options and I want to add a 4th.

I followed the instructions Production Options with eCart just like when I created the first 3 options. Everything looked fine.

But when I am testing the new option on my local and remote server, the cart page does not display at all. Stays on current page with the Add to Cart button.

Any suggestions?

I also updated the confirm.php, the Universal Email page, and success page by adding the code in the tables to include new option:

<th >Rope Length</th>

And

<td >
<?php echo $eCart1->DisplayInfo("RopeLength"); ?>
</td>

That seems to be working.

But I notice the orderdetails table in my database does not have a field for the new option RopeLength.

So is there in automated procedure for updating the database?

I guess the Cart Wizard created the option tables as I don't remember having to set those fields up...

can you send a copy of the page that has the add to c art button on it so i can see the code?

Also a link where i can see the problem would be helpful.

There is no automated process for adding the new column to the order details table, you will need to use PHPMyAdmin or another mySQL GUI tool to access the database, edit the order details table to add the additional column.

Also, you will need to edit the store order details behavior on the confirm page to bind the new column to the RopeLength column of the cart.

I will send a copy of the page in a minute.

I did the edit to the store order details server behavior and I'm now getting the following error when re-opening the confirm.php page:

"While excuting inspectSelection in WAUEinsp.html, a JavaScript error occurred."

Have you seen that error before?
