Validation Toolkit and Security Assist

I have a client for whom we used the Validation Toolkit on the front end of his site.
When we built a back end for table administration several years later, I used PowerCMS.

I now have two versions of Validation that live on the same site.

One is in WA_ValidationToolkit folder and works on the front end forms.

The other is in webassist\form_validations and is supposed to handle the log in form for the administration screen.

When I use the login.php that the Security Assist wizard created, I get the following error message:
[03-Aug-2012 21:09:18] PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare saveformtosession() (previously declared in /clients WEBSITEXXX/html/WA_ValidationToolkit/WAVT_Scripts_PHP.php:17) in /clients WEBSITEXXX/html/webassist/form_validations/wavt_scripts_php.php on line 40

The wizard complained along the way, but still created the form.

Do I need to remove Validation Toolkit?
If so, will I need to rebuild my front end forms using PowerCMS?
Is there a way to get the back end form to ignore the front end files?

Thanks.

the older validation toolkit added a require once line that pointed to the file:
WA_ValidationToolkit/WAVT_Scripts_PHP.php

You will need to remove that line from any pages that you add the newer validation to in order to avoid a conflict.

you wont need to redo the older pages, just remove the require once line from the newer ones.
