Can we have a Lightbox extension please?
What I would really like, and buy, is a simple to use Lightroom feature, preferably as a Dreamweaver extension with a wizard providing step by step sequences to configure the desired results.
Basically this should offer a button with dropdown menu that when a selection is clicked launches a lightbox to display either an image or document (pdf, word doc etc.)
I came across a neat feature in a very basic web editor called Serif Weplus X6
Here is what it did.
1- Created a button navigation sequence on the page (drop down list)
2 - each revealed button offered a pop-up in which text could be displayed if required
3 - each revealed button could be configured to hyperlink to a file that displayed in a lightbox.
4 - the size of the lightbox could be configured in px for height and width, the lightbox had a close button.
5 - With the lightbox displayed the parent web page dimmed
When the lightroom displayed file was a PDF the PDF reader offered the ability to save the document or print the document (normal Adobe Reader features)
To set this up the process was to follow a simple wizard to (1) choose the button or menu style
Then (2) edit the style (if required) for button shape, colour, background and text colours
(3) Select the file to be displayed in the lightbox
(4) Configure the lightbox size
(5) Click done
That was all there was to it - very simple very quick and really professional looking result.

I want to use this feature to build a library of journal content created as PDF files
Each Button (on a page) is for a particular journal, hovering over the button reveals a menu of the articles in the journal, scrolling down the list the selected article (button) background colour changes and the pop up reveals some basic text (in my case an intro to the article) and clicking the selected article launches the lightbox and displays a PDF of the article.
This is a really neat feature executed in this basic website builder (Serif Webplus X6) and having a WebAssist extension that did the same thing would be brilliant.
As I said I would pay money for this as a WebAssist extension!
