to help troubleshoot the problem, change line 54 to:

php:
$all_Portfolio = mysql_query($query_Portfolio, $Portfolio) or die(mysql_error()."<br>SQL: ".$query_Portfolio);

and send a link where i can see the page in a browser.

It looks like you have already fixed the problem?

I do not see any errors when visiting the page you linked to.

Ok now it's fine. i used the webassist --> dataassist --> repeat selection, not the dreamweaver repeat area.

can i use a jump menu for sort recordsets? how can i do it? no way with rules.

in the data assist support page, look in the solution recipes section for a tutorial on "Sorting by column links":
dataassist/

same principal can be used for a jump menu.

Thx Jason. The jumpmenu is working. but the jumpmenu always changes to: please choose... i would like to have the correct selection.

Link: update.php are errors:

Warning: mysql_select_db(): supplied resource is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/httpd/vhosts/likebeyond.com/httpdocs/portfolio/update.php on line 113

Warning: mysql_query(): supplied resource is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/httpd/vhosts/likebeyond.com/httpdocs/portfolio/update.php on line 118

SQL: SELECT * FROM portfolio

i put in: or die(mysql_error()."<br>SQL: ".$query_Portfolio); as you told me.

what could be the problem?

thx for your quick respond.
