products cause checkout error

I have created three donation buttons, 1 is a select list, 1 is a set amount with an updatable qty, and 1 with an updatable amount.

These all add to the cart perfectly, however, when I go through the checkout process, I get a "transaction could not be completed" message.

The payment gateway is in test mode and not processing any card information if you want to try it at, rssfundraising.com

this happens if the item information sent to the gateway does not meet the formatting specifications.

the first item in the cart does not have an ID. The item ID is not optional.

I gave the button an ID of DD01, and received this error now in checkout

Unknown column 'DD01' in 'field list'

In the order details table of the database, the column used to store the product ID is set to be a numeric column type.


Either change the IDs in the cart to be numeric. Or edit the Order Details table and set the product ID column to be varchar. you will also need to edit the Store Order Details behavior on the confirm page to edit the data type for the product ID column.
