Need to sort order by ascending not descending

Hey Just needed some quick help i have a website set up and it currently reads from the db as descending i need to make another page that has the same info but ascending how can i do that?

I tried changing the sql from

SELECT C2.ContentGroup, C2.ContentPageSetOrder
FROM pcms2_contents AS C1 LEFT OUTER JOIN pcms2_contents AS C2 ON C2.ContentPagesetParentID = C1.ContentID
WHERE C1.ContentGroup = 'events' AND C2.ContentPageSetOrder = post
GROUP BY C2.ContentPageSetOrder
ORDER BY C2.ContentPageSetOrder DESC

to this

SELECT C2.ContentGroup, C2.ContentPageSetOrder
FROM pcms2_contents AS C1 LEFT OUTER JOIN pcms2_contents AS C2 ON C2.ContentPagesetParentID = C1.ContentID
WHERE C1.ContentGroup = 'events' AND C2.ContentPageSetOrder = post
GROUP BY C2.ContentPageSetOrder
ORDER BY C2.ContentPageSetOrder ASC

But still no luck.

Can you please guide me in the right direction.

Thanks!

setting the order by to ASC should do the trick, I cant say why it is not without some more information.
