First Data - Shared Secret

Is ecart compatible with first data connect 2.0?
when submitting an order I am getting a message Transaction Not Completed
We're sorry
Your transaction could not be completed (Basically routed back to my page for order failures).

I am using first data connect 2.0 as my merchant gateway and processing the order on my site. The product catalog was created with data assist.

According to first data's integration manual we have to include the shared secret code, but there is not any place in the checkout wizard to introduce the shared secret

I think eCart uses the V1 First Data API.

can you send a link the V2 API documentation you are refering to so we can look into it please.

Once at the link click on product manuals "View Details" I will contact first data and see if we can use v1 If V1 is not an option will web assist be adjust the program to work with v2?

Yes, it uses the Connect V1 API.

If you would like help implementing the Connect V2 API, we could help with that in a premiere support appointment.
