"Company Name" Field for Customers

Hi I need to add a field for the customer registration and checkout process. (i.e COMPANY NAME).
I am using Powerstore and Supersuite, and your Ecommerce mySQL database. I've had a quick look and it appears that the ecommerce mySQL database V1.0.0 does not have this field. I know you most likely don't support these changes but just a point in the right direct would be appreciated. I would have thought that this would be a common request for anyone selling items to other businesses.

this is not a supported modification of Power Store, you would need to edit the users table of the power store database, to add the Company name column, and edit the Registration page to offer a Company name field, and edit the insert record behavior. There are other places this would need to be edited as well.

If you need assistance adding this, we could help in a premiere support appointment.

Ok if I run into trouble I will schedule a Premier Support appointment. Given that I currently host it locally with Xampp, is that something you would talk me through, or do I need to upload it to a web host provider so that you can access it?

In the premiere appointment we would use acrobat connect to do a screen share, so it would be fine to work on the local site.

Steven, did you resolve this issue of adding the "Company Name" field? If so, did you resolve it yourself, or did you have to get premiere support to walk you through? I am having the same issue and have resolved most of it myself. However, I cannot figure out how the info is pulled from the process_transaction.php file to be displayed in the confirm.php file. Any info you are willing to pass on would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
