powerstore shipping rules

Hi there

i have a question about the shipping rules. i am applying custom shipping rules to my different products BUT when i apply the rate in the shipping rule settings it doubles it when i go to the cart on my website IE: The shipping rule for some of my items to the United States for instance is £11.00 but if i put £11.00 in the Bottom right rate box in settings when i go to try it out on my website the total for the shipping gets doubled to £22.00.( i have also included the rate in the base rate box) I am having to halve the amount of the shipping in the settings in order to get the correct postage for the items in my cart. Is this supposed to be happening as it seems rather strange?
Thank you

Chris Clark

so you are setting the base rate and per item rate to £11.00?

This is the behavior i would expect if you set the base rate and per item rate to £11.00.

the base rate is the starting shipping rate that is applied to the shipping cost.

it is applied if there are 1 or more items in the cart as a flat rate

The per item rate is applied as a multiple of the cart quantity. Quantity * Per Item Rate

If you set both the Base and per item rate to £11.00, the shipping will be calculated as:

£11.00 + (Quantity * £11.00)
