Expression Web 2 of Dreamweaver

I am trying to decide which editor is best to use with the Powerstore 2 . I own Expressionweb 2 but not Dreamweaver. What are the pros and cons of both editors? I am not by any means a web developer so, please explain it to me as though I were a neophyte.
I have an existing web store on Stores Online but I am not satisfied with the product. I am getting PowerStore 2 to take its place. Please help sort things out for me; time is critical.

Hi Ray,

I think it comes down to how familiar you are with ExpressionWeb and Dreamweaver. My preference is DW since I have used every version of it since its very first Macromedia version.

I have not had a lot of experience with ExpressionWeb though. But I have heard good things. I think currently DW is better even if based simply on the number of users available to help with questions you may have and products available for it.

But really it comes down to personal preference. I don't think anyone can really tell you which is better for 'you'.

Can I get adequate support for EW2 to build my sites?

I'm not sure how much user support there will be based on the Sculptor for Expressionweb forum has no posts.

But I do know that WebAssist does have good support for their products. If they sell it, I am sure they support it just as closely as the Dreamweaver versions. I'm sure Ray B. will be able to answer that better as to what support avenues are available for Expressionweb.

Using either is fine if you are not going to use our products to edit the pages. They both work for editing the pages manually. If you do want to use our products to edit the pages, you will need to use Dreamweaver. There are version of all our tools for Dreamweaver and only a select few are on Expression Web.

Powerstore2

Does the Licensing of Powerstore2 entitle me to use it on more than one computer?

Yes, you are allowed to use PowerStore on more than one computer. The licensing for PowerStore allows you to work on PowerStore on more than one computer, but it is a developer license, so someone else will not be licensed to use the product.
