Keep HTML Editor from auto inserting image width/height?

Keep HTML Editor from auto inserting image width/height?

Is there any way to prevent the HTML Editor from inputing an image's specific dimensions when inserting the image into a post? When working with a responsive site, I want to depend on max-width: 100%; versus a specific width/height. Is this a feature that you can disable?

Thanks in advance!

No, this cannot be disabled.

You will need to manually clear the width and height attribute when selecting an image.

would this be implemented in the future right now with all the responsive web sites been made its a must, would like to add that in the wishlist.

right now when i delete the width and height i have to re-edit them so it can take it out something users are not use to do

This is a CKEditor Limitation, not something that we have control over.

I dont know if this is something they will change in version 4 of CKEditor or not.
