Ecart modifications

Thread began 6/19/2012 9:16 am by stephen433416 | Last modified 6/20/2012 10:11 am by Jason Byrnes | 481 views | 1 replies |

Ecart modifications

I plan to customise (modify) the ecart forms and functionality supplied with Powerstore.
For example:
a) include a Company Name fields for billing and delivery address address
b) have the freight charges applied only for a selected capital cities.
c) Specify the gross totals for each line item (ie including GST Tax) but also specifiy the total GST amount for the transaction, etc...

To start off, shouldn't I see an existing Ecart object when I open the webassist ecart panel in Dreamweaver (CS4) (p.s. I also have Supersuite)?

If you dont see a cart object in the eCart panel, this would indicate that power store is installed to a sub directory of your Dreamweaver site. Dreamweaver and eCart will look for the helper files like the cart object in WebAssist folders located at the root of the site.

We do not offer support for making modifications to the solution packs. See the FAQ Section of the Power Store Support page:
