Is there a simple way to edit a buy now button rather than recreating each time?

How would you know which ecart button it is in the server behavior panel?

Therefore, can the buy now button be copied within the same page and then edited?

you can edit the eCart Add to cart server behavior to edit the information that is transferred to the cart.

you would tell which button it is by the information in the bindings.

no, the cart button code should not be copied.
