Powerstore Home Page Layout

I have designed my site based on the default Powerstore design template. I would like to modify the home page layout to include the side product category menu. I am assuming I open (in Dreamweaver) PowerStore Files->webassist->themes->(themename)->templates->index.dwt.php. Is that correct?

yes, that is correct, the webassist->themes->(themename)->templates->index.dwt.php is the file to edit in order to change the appearance of the home page.
