Security Assist Authenticate Users Sessions

Hi Guys,

On the latest update to Data Bridge (1.03) I see that you have changed the Session Values select box to come up as a list in a new Window. Great stuff. It works much better than the drop down list from before.

There is one slight strange occurrence that seems to happen now though (on Mac anyway).

When you select a column in the list, it seems to stick to your mouse and follow you around. It doesn't seem to cause any functional issues but it just looks a bit weird.

Screenshot attached. (the ghosted column name is where the mouse pointer was, although the mouse cursor doesn't actually show on the screenshot)

Cheers
Ian

The only way I am able to reproduce this behavior is if i keep the mouse click button down.

I am testing in Mac OS 10.6, DWCS6 with Data Bridge 1.0.3

Hi Jason

I'm definitely not keeping the mouse held down :-)

My test machine is running 10.7.4, DB 1.0.3 and CS6 and this is on a remote site. I also notice that since upgrading to CS6 the flickering of "Loading Database Schema" from remote sites is enough to give me a migraine.

I think this is a problem with CS6 though. Not impressed with CS6 at all. Seems very 'flakey' compared to 5.5

Cheers

I see the flickering for at least 2 minutes on both cs6 and 5.5, so it's not just you. I tried to make a movie for issues and it took so long I had to wait to do movie so it wasn't too long.

I see what you mean now, single click the column name and it follows the mouse around, if you double click the column name, though, it wont follow.

I will log that in our bug base.

i agree with you about the Loading Database Schema screen, even for a local connection, it;s a little excessive.

Ian:

Have you seen any of the issues I'm encountering?
showthread.php?p=130331#post130331

Can you do a results page with icons? Is it just me?
Have you tried to do a DA results page?

Thanks much

I've never used the wizards in the 5 or so years that I've used the WA extensions as I like to create bespoke solutions for my clients, so I can't really answer you I'm afraid Patrice.

Sorry
