Datepicker on Insert field?

there are no bindings in the Date Picker interface - how do i use the widget on a data insert field?

the data picker adds a text field to your page, when you click into the text filed, it triggers jquery to open a calendar interface to pick a date.

the chosen date is then added to the text field.

Found issue in Databridge

I discovered that the form data was not being saved at all because I upgraded to DW 6 and then upgraded to Databridge using Lion ... had to go back to DW 5 to re-generate the pages using previous dataassist - then opened up the page in DW 6 to insert the datepicker - problems occur when using databridge's data wizard .. datepicker seems ok .. also any use of bindings create a loop and crashes DW 6

An update to DataBridge, version 1.0.3 was released yesterday to correct issues with data Bridge in DW CS6 like the endless loop you mention.

make sure to uninstall the previous version from the extension manager before installing the newer one.

install order

do I need to uninstall eCart 5 as well? What order should the new install be ecart 1st then dtatabridge?

no, you will not need to uninstall eCart.

The only rule to follow in terms of install order when using Design Extender, Data Bridge and eCart is that eCart cannot be installed last.

the current version numbers are;
eCart 5.0.6
Design Extender 1.0.7
Data Bridge 1.0.3

Thanks

i like the fact that Databridge bundles the other products .. at least I don''t have to reinstall a million products all over ...
