Forcing quantity to 1 or delete calculation?

Hi .. the products in my cart are 1 of a kind so I got rid of the quantity to prevent more than 1 in the cart ... now, since i did that, the orders are not being reflected in the Linkpoint interface ... I am not getting an error and i get to the success page .. my question is - what is the correct way to limit each product to 1? And how can I trouble shoot the Linkpoint issue if it isn't the quantity?

Thanks!

In the add to cart button behavior, set the quantity to 1 and uncheck the option for the quantity to be updatable. This will force the add to cart button to use the quantity of 1.

also, in the If Item In Cart section, set it to ignore or replace so the item cant be added a second time.

In your cart display manager on the cart page, remove the quantity text box.

another option is to create a calculation as:
[Quantity] = 1

this will force the quantity of each line item to 1.

correct syntax

in changing the quantity to 1 is this the correct syntax?

current calculation line:
[Quantity] . ' ' . [Name] . ' (' . [ID] . ')'

forcing quantity to 1:
[Quantity] = 1 ' . [Name] . ' (' . [ID] . ')'

No, that is editing the Full details calculation.

dont edit an existing calculation. Create a new calculation and use the syntax:
[Quantity] = 1
