Display area on login failed not working.

I have a login page that when fails will redirect to itself with the following parameter:

Index.php?failed=1

I added text on the page that reads: Invalid username/password

Then I apply the behavior to show region if 'failed login' ... but .. the area is not displayed.

How to fix this ? what am i missing ?

how have you defined the failed login rule?

since the URL variable name you are using is "failed":

go to the bindings panel, click the plus button and select URL Variable, name it "failed"

In the access rule manager, edit the failed login rule.

Select the Allow radio button

click the lightning bolt icon next to Value and select the "failed" URL Variable binding.

Set the criteria to "<>" this means Not Equal

Leave the compare to field blank

tutorial/video on HOW to use extensions

Would be nice to have a tutorial on how to use this extensions. Creating a 'login page' would probably take one of your guys 10 min from scratch at most using your extensions instead of the wizard, recording this 10 min and putting them online would be a HUGE help, i have read other postings and I am not the only one requesting this ... let me know if you have this on the works ... would be a good place to learn instead of posting and posting for each thing that i have to apply to the login page.
