Localhost.php & Other Questions

Hello All:

This is my first time to have a Store that I will be configuring. I have been working with hostgator to make sure I have the database configured correctly with the localhost.php file and they tell me its good, however, they are concerned that when I upload the PowerStore2 Application to the server, where the localhost should
be placed at. Here is one of the support answers I got back for hostgator:

"I've examined your database information in the "khorton_Tables" database and it looks like it's ready to go, and the information you posted here looks like it was copy and pasted out of the localhost.php file, so I think you should be good to go. My only concern is once you upload the PowerStore2 application, where does the application expect the localhost.php file to be? Only WebAssist can tell you this as they may expect it be in a different directory than /store"

1). I plan to name it mydomainnamehere.com/store (this is not my domain name of course, just an example of what the store will be named) . Will this work or do I need to name it specificially something else?

2). Does anyone on here host with hostgator and use PowerStore2 that could give me information on what to do? I am using DreamWeaver 8 to alter the layout.

3). When I get ready to load my products in the store, will I do this after I load the store to hostgator or what?? I am trying to follow the instructions, however, they can be confusing at times on what to do here.

Any feedback on this will greatly be appreciated.

Thank you,
Kathy

Issues Solved!

I want to inform everyone that I have the store issues resolved and the store is working properly. Now all I have to do is alter the templates and add products! I really like what this store offers on the front & backend. Totally great for the price! Just what I needed to complete my collections of software!

Thanks!

P.S. ~ If you host with HostGator...they ROCK! They'll go beyond to help you get files, etc straightened out and have you up and running in no time!!
