Multiple Registrations with one Add to Cart

I use eCart to process registrations for various events. We have a page that the user enters their name and address. The add to cart registers them for this event and works perfectly.

What I would like to do is create a table so that Administration can enter several people that want to register for the same event and have only ONE Add To Cart button. Is that possible.

I am comfortable with the Add-To-Cart PHP code and see how it processes the information for one person. Can this be modified easily?

Thanks.

Sam

Multiple Add-to-Cart Items with one click

A similar problem.
I would like to add multiple items to my cart with one click. For simplicity, I have two products that I would like to add to my cart. One is alway being added and the second one is optional.
What I would like is a checkbox for the second item. If checked, it will add this second item (presumably with another Add-to-Cart Button, hidden??). When the customer clicks the first Add-to-Cart button, I will add this item to the cart and then check if they selected the second item. If so, then (with a little php programming) add the second item to the cart.

Am I on the right track.

Thanks.

Add the add to cart button for the first item, then add a checkbox to the add to cart form.

set the value of the checkbox to the ID of the second item to add.

Create a lookup recordset that will filter the products table on the ID passed by the checkbox when the add to cart button is pressed.

Then use an add to cart server behavior. On the server behaviors panel, click the plus button and select eCart -> Add to cart -> Add to Cart.

Set the trigger to if the lookup recordset is not empty

on the bindings panel, use the columns from the lookup recordset.
