Security issue with encrypted code

I have been notified by my hosting company that a file has been uploaded to my server and a mail ware program has highlighted this as a security threat due to the encrypted code within the file.

As a precaution the hosting company have removed this file and when I asked what the file was they told me it was an image file, upon looking for this file the only one I could find was the logo image that come with the Design Extender extension.

Can you confirm if you are aware of this and what the possible threat could be?

Thanks

Scott

This is not something I have seen before.

can you ask the hosting company what the name of the file was?

and what the potential security threat was?
