checkout link to paypal

how do I link my checkout button to my new paypal account for credit card processing?

I went through the checkout wizard and entered in the paypal information already.

when I am in my shoping cart page and press the checkout button, it goes no where.

Also if I get to the initial checkout page where customer info is placed, and then press checkout button at the bottom of that page, it goes nowhere.

I can't seem to get to the paypal link.

I got to the confirm order page and when I select submit order I receive the message:

invalid merchant or merchant doesn't exist.

What PayPal type are you using? There's Paypal Standard, Paypal Express and Pro. I just finished changing my scary code from PayPal standard to PayPal express and I must say Express is more powerful to use. With express and pro you would need a username, password and a certificate code. (note these are NOT your PayPal loging details) what I'm referring to are your PayPal API credentials.

I have very low volume so I went with Paypal Standard.

on the confirm page, there is a hidden form element named "business", the value of this element must be your paypal business account email address:

php:
<input type="hidden" name="business" id="business" value="business account@emailAddress.com" />

the error is saying you have not entered a valid email
