Correct order of installing WA extension

Hi Jason.
You wrote:
"make sure that design extender is the last extension that you install. see this thread for installation tips:
http://www.webassist.com/forums/showthread.php?t=24005"

I studied the installation Tips.
Now I am confused.
You wrote in Your tips:
----
" Install these extesnions last, in this order (there is no order for other extensions) ...
NOTE: if you own Design Extender, and Data Bridge the install order should be:
eCart 5
Design Extender 1
Data Bridge 1"
----
I own those three Packages.
Which order of installing them is now the correct one?
----

Furthermore, there seems to be a bug in my DW 5.5 installation.
After having installed my extensions and started DW 2 times over, Extension manager refuses to any changes with the message "Menus could not be updated. The extension is not being installed" (transletd from german, I don't know if the message in the Englich Version is as above.
Very boring error. Do You know the reasons? DW support forums know that issue since MX, but no one can tell another solution then deleting configurations folder. I do so every week. It costs me 2 hours to reinstall all extension and reproduce my settings. ... Thnx for Your attention.

either design extender or data bridge should be installed last, it really doesn't matter which of the 2 is the last one installed, as long as eCart is not the last one installed.

I suggested Uninstalling Design Extender and reinstalling it because it is the smaller one.

the error:
"Menus could not be updated. The extension is not being installed"

is a bug in the extension manager, and really the only fix for it is to rename the configuration folder.

The "menus cannot be updated" error is an error in the extension manager when trying to add menu access to the new functionality. It could have been caused by a previous bad installation or uninstall failure. I think you will probably need to delete or rename your configuration folder and reinstall your extensions in order to get this issue corrected.
