Converting a number to a word...

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out a conversion.

In my results.php page that dataAssist has created, there is a field called "<?php echo($row_WADAusers['user_level']); ?>" this is a number, 1 through 6, based on a "user_level". How can I convert whatever that number is, into an actual word.

I would like to make it easy for an admin to see what user level a person would be, rather than display a "number legend"

thanks

There are 2 ways that i can think of to do this.

You could write a php case statement to return a certain string, based on the value input, or you could use a reference table in your database, whose id corresponds to the security level, and use a joined table in your query
