FedEx API expiring - Updates are available in the Download center

If you are using the FedEx shipping rate lookup service in your eCart store, the current FedEx API service will be expiring at the end of the month.

There is an update to eCart 5 available in the download center that can be used to correct the issue, there will also be a copy of the updated fedEx support files that can be used if you wish to apply the fix manually.

you will need to Migrate you FedEx account to the New API to get a new FedEx account number, meter number, signature and password. you can do the migration at the FedEx site:

I know this is a stupid question, but I have a client that has very old eCart built in ASP. They claim the FedEX shipping just stopped working.

I assume there is no support for this? Not sure how to fix this problem.

We haven't offered support for ASP for about 5 years now. unfortunately with the new API update at FedEx, it will mean older ASP carts that use fed Ex for shipping rate lookup wont be supported. you will need to use one of the other Shipping Lookup providers in this instance instead of relying on Fed Ex.
