About Designs

I'm confused with the all the presets/design/themes/categories you are using.

How can I use a design created in FormBuilder for DataBridge? What is the difference between themes/designs/presets/categories? How is the overall structure? What is the best way to name them when using it for different customers?

I'm assuming your asking mainly about the preset manager, and the product select list?

Themes are For CSS Menu writer - Menu Themes. in other words, the menu design.

CSS From Builder - Form Designs are the CSS Look of the form. When you save a form design Preset, in form builder, the design will become available in the Design Preset list of the Data Assist create Pages wizard.

Data Bridge - Preset are the preset application types that are available, the define the table used, the pages that will be created, and the other application settings you can configure in the Data Bridge create pages wizard.

The preset manager groups the preset types in to the products they apply to.

the naming convention you use when creating presets is up to you.

What I see is that I can't import a FormBuilder Form Design into DataBridge but when I create a new Design in DataBrige I can select the Design name formerly created in FormBuilder from the list and a corresponding theme.

What happens to the new created DataBridge design when I change this FormBuilder theme?

In form builder, if you choose a design, and make edits to it using the design editor, then save the design as a new preset, you will be able to select that preset for use in data assist.

after editing the form theme in data Assist, it does not effect the Form Builder preset.

The css is stored at the time the preset is created
and won't be updated unless you go back to dataassist and update the design again
