DataAssist & CS6
Is DataAssist compatible with Dreamweaver CS6 on the Macintosh or will it be upgraded if not? I plan to upgrade to CS6 and DataBridge over the next few weeks, but still have some older ASP sites I need to support.
Thank you

No Data Assist has not been updated to be compatible with Dreamweaver CS6, but if it where, you would not want to install Data Assist and Data bridge at the same time, that would cause a conflict.
to manage the older ASP sites, you would be better having the older Dreamweaver version installed with Data Assist and installing Data bridge in design extender.
So, I can't just uninstall DB and reinstall DA 'cause I'm on DW6 with mac?
That was my back up plan for this weekend.
:-(
Or is this just for asp and not php?
I'm trying to figure out what best path to take for long weekend. Thanks.
No, Data Assist is not compatible with DW CS6, you will need to install Data Assist in an older version of Dreamweaver (You can have multiple DW Versions installed at the same time, I currently have CS3, 4, 5, 5.5 and 6 installed)
Thanks Jason.
I tried some fixes. New site was created in DW6. I did my usual admin pages for results, update, etc.... albeit it took forever to get anything to work. Then when I couldn't get html editor to make update page work, I switched to DW5.5 and got it a html editor area installed. However, when in user mode for client, none of the H2, etc. is working on live page. So I'm guessing that starting in DB and switching to 5.5 for trying html editor is making a mess.
So, I'm just treading water until the fix is out. It's costing me time (money) now and I'm frustrated.
