Help: Row Level Security with DataAssist

Hello,

I ran the DataAssist wizard (using DataBridge latest) to create pages from the Product Administration preset - works great. I have now ran SecurityAssist to create user registration pages - no problem.

ok, each user can access the dataassist admin pages after registering. What I want to do is allow each user to edit and update the products they have added only. Each user will not be able to see products added by other users, just what they add themselves.

Please help.

when the user logs in, their ID is stored in a session variable.

in the products table, you will need to add a userID column, and when a product is inserted, store the ID of the logged in user by binding the userID column to the ID session variable created at login time.

then on the product Update page, add a condition to the products recordset where clause to compare the user ID column to the ID session variable so that only records for the logged in user are returned.
