Universal Email 4 wizard failing to populate page

Using UEM 401

Getting a Dreamweaver alert after using the wizard to setup a confirmation email page.

When i click finish in the Create email Message form, up pops the following;

open<%= not closed

I click ok, the field content remains in the form, but the wizard fails to populate my php page. Interestingly the wizards trigger value always resets itself to 'any form post', no matter what i have entered.

I can also recreate issue on a new php page with minimal code, just a form and field.

I would send page but as the wizard is not populating it, seems little point

Any ideas?

"<%="

is the start of an asp code block

from the error, it sounds like there is a begging asp code block on the page that is not closed.

if you need more help, send a screen shot of the error and a copy of the page.

I have identified the cause of the reported error.

Basically the file waue_newreg_1.php which is pointed to in the line

php:
include("../../webassist/email/waue_newreg_1.php");

of the Universal Email script was corrupt, although im not sure where.

So i have replaced it with a new file and the error has gone.:)

Hope this helps others troubled by the same event
