Problems installing PowerCMSbuilder

Hello all

I am having trouble installing PowerCMSbuilder. I must warn you that I am a very new webdesigner with little knowledge (almost none but I am learning) on databases. I installed the program as an extension for dreamweaver, however, when I select a content (say a paragraph) and try to add it through the menu, there is no response.. nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? My site is already on a server (allowing databases) and live... should I first copy any other files in my domain? The cmsbuilder101 file for example? I am totally lost. I would appreciate your help. Thank you in advance.

before you start with Power CMS Builder:

1) make sure your Dreamweaver site is configured for dynamic development.

see the "Defining a Dynamic Site in Dreamweaver" tutorial on the learning resources page:
tutorials.php

2) Create a database connection. see the "Creating your database connection in Dreamweaver" tutorial also on the learning resources page

3) The pages you are working with must be php pages, they must have the file extension .php.

if you are working with static html page, you will have the problem you are describing. Power CMS Builder can only be applied to dynamic php pages.
