Search for exact phrase

Hi there,

What a great extension! Well done guys!

I need to be able to search through UK postcodes, so need the system to be able to return just results from 'NE1' for example and not 'NE12', 'NE15' etc in my postcode field.

Can you advise how I would do that?

Update the dataasist search server behavior on the results page and use "=" instead of "begins with" or "includes" and it will only show an exact match.

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

I've realised my mistake now, I had already tried what you suggested but now realise that of course the result will match the entire postcode and not just the first 3 letters / numbers. I was curious why when I did a search for NE1 there were no results, and it's because there are no postcodes of just NE1, but many of NE1 XXX.

I've corrected the query and all is fine now. Thanks for your very quick reply. Best extension I've ever used!!
